    Hi,

I am looking for some sort of spread sheet that I can quickly breakdown our expenses ie, wages, diesel, rent, maintanence, VAT (important one), PAYE etc

Then what we have coming in in the coming month and outgoing.

I just don't know how to formulate it that if my boss says I want to pay someone I can say yes or no as very quickly.

    Thanks

    Caroline

Probably not the answer you are looking for but...

If you knew Excel you'd know how to set up what you want. However, because you don't know excel well I'd stay away from it until you get trained up in Excel. Get your boss to pay for a course.

I have a basic cash flow projection spreadsheet which covers a 52 week period. You can put in all your recurring expenditure into it etc and it will give you a accurate indication of the cash you need to collect from your customers to meet your supplier payments etc.

PM me you email address and I will forward it to you.

As a previous contributor suggested, go on an excel course or better still go to a bookshop and buy a good guide on excel and teach yourself.

    Regards,
    Michael

    Hi Mick,

Thanks for that I have sent you an email.

The reason I am looking for this is there was a problem with Sage and the VAT was fully claimed due to the way the Sage is set up (nothing to do with me thankfully) - but it wasn't spotted until now and he just wants to make sure we are claiming absolutely everything.
