Software Graduate Schemes

I was just wondering if people with experience from previous years, or people in the same boat as me now could give me some advice here.

I will be graduating next summer with an M.Sc in Computer Science, and want to pursue a career in software development. I've been told that most companies with graduate schemes will be looking for applicants around about now, but I'm not exactly sure where to look. So...

What would the best companies in Dublin be for hiring software graduates? Would also be willing to move anywhere else in the country, or the UK. When generally do they stop taking applications? I know things aren't good right for employment, but there have to be at least some graduate jobs out there (hopefully).

SAP BusinessObjects Innovation Center are offering 6 month internships to MSc students. You can find more here.

The Innovation Center website itself should give you an idea of what we do.

I was an MIS graduate rather than Computer Science but I found my first job by googling 'Software Development' Ireland and sending on-spec applications to virtually everyone of them.
