Shipping a bike to Switzerland for IM CH by Currier

Perhaps people here have experience with this from shipping bikes internationally to triathlons.

I'm going over to Zurich for IM Switzerland in July and need to bring my bike. I just rang Aer Lingus to book the but there's already 6 bikes booked on so I won't able to bring it on the flight over. Does anyone have experience shipping a bike to Europe with a currier? Which did you go with and at what cost? The only two options I can think of now are booking a different flight, or shipping it by currier to the hotel.

    Thanks,
    Conor.

you could try aer lingus again. depending on which agent you get on to, youcan get a different result. I think I was the 10th bike on the same flight last year.
