2008 Peugeot 407 - No Isofix??

Guys, is there any possibility that a 2008 Peugeot 407 Solaire doesn't have Isofix fittings? We're expecting our first baby in a month or so and was told that any 407 manufactured after 2005/6 should have Isofix but I went looking at the seat earlier today and am nearly positive that the fittings aren't there. The car's handbook mentions Isofix but it also mentions other features in the car that I don't have so I'm not sure. Anyone shed any light for me??

Lift the rear seat and you shoudl see the ISOfix "brackets". All they are, from what I can remember is some metal in a U shape welded onto the floor pan to give a more secure fixing.

Thanks. I'll have a look again when I'm back in the car.

There is more than likely some small holes in the seat that go down to the brachets. The holes will be slits less than 2 inches long.

On the Primera, the only way I can find them is the ISOfix tags on the seats next to the holes.

I had a look again and there is one small hole but it's only one. I think I'll have to concede defeat I think.

Thanks for the replies guys. I think the best thing I can do is to show it to the guys in the shop where we bought the car seat. I'll let you know how I get on.
