News anchor is Caroline Twohig. Seems OK.

Except her teeth!!!!!!!!! How can they let her on TV with these bad teeth?

oooohhh just looooook at those propstrous teeth, they simply wont do. you expect extraordinary things from Celebrities????? her teeth are clean and all her own, which is something that I cannot say about your much loved Celebs, cheryl cole, simon cowel, angelina jolie, tom cruise, etc etc etc. that's the problem wit people like you buying into the image of celebrity culture, I dunno why im even typing this, you should have more sense, go buy heat magazine or something.

If appearance doesn't matter why don't they just have newcasters reading the news with a paper bag over their heads?

In this day and age I don't think it is too much to think that a newscaster would go and get their teeth fixed.

In this day and age I don't think it is too much to think that a newscaster would go and get their teeth fixed.

well first of all if they did, they acoustics would be muffled:D sound doesn't travel well through paper I think. I'm no sound engineer but I dont think it would work.
but seriously im not gonna argue about it, but realy?? someones teeth?? next you'll be asking us, why can't ryan tubriday have his ears reduced and his chin sculpted, it would add to his over all aesthetic????

Watch on the television, it's clearer.

They are not buck teeth but the front few cross over each her. And one of her front ones is a major snaggletooth.

In fairness i have watched a few of them now and its great, All the pub or water cooler talk you need, very fast paced an entertaining, a great alterative to the six one, good sports section and all the techy news I like.
presenters all do a good job, except the weather guy on after the show. He's not great.

God am shocked that someone could be so picky about someones appearance. This girl is fab looking and is only in this job a week and I'd say it'd be a real dent to her confidence if she came across this thread...

This is Ireland OP, where you have to take a mortgage application form to the dentist. You might be ok for cosmetic dental-work if you're lucky enough to win Euromilions, and then only if you don't have to share the winnings with anyone else.

It is human nature to knock people we are jealous off. Enii you must be jealous. As you are the main poster knocking the girl. I think she is great. Personal attack! A previous poster referred to the Seoige sisters as "Icey snobs" - to me that would be a personal attack. I think trying to change your personality to improve yourself would be quite difficult. However, a snaggle tooth removal and braces to straighten your teeth is not a lot to do imo to fix.
