    Hi - sounds good.

    I missed the last event due to non-functioning sense of direction and the bizarre logic of Dublin Bus timetables, but this networking event should be good.

    Last time I promised to give an overview of the research services I offer SMEs and start-up companies. I'll give the presentation a little more thought over the next couple of weeks and present something at the event which might be of interest to people who are starting up their own businesses.

    Essentially, I help companies and organisations do surveys, collect information and data, and present it in a way which suits them. Sometimes companies want to organise feedback from their clients or customers, sometimes they want to be briefed about what's happening in the outside world, and sometimes they want information packaged so they can present it to the bank, investors or their local TD. I can help you do that.

If anyone on Boards wants to give me a shout to discuss how a decent piece of research can help your business grow, please do drop me a line. I'll give some good, real life examples of how to use research and reporting at the event.

    Can I suggest that you change your page over to a "fan" page and ditch the "group" page? You'll get some nice stats on who's using and interacting with the page, and it'll also rate your posting.
    At the bottom left of the page click create a page for my business.

    now that this has been brought to my attention ill be there is anyone interested in particular in discussing / passing on knowledge on online business's / internet marketing / seo etc

    i dont know how many people attend something like this but if it is a large number i think it would be nice to know what peoples expertise / interests are in advance so you can plan questions etc

    iv never been to anything like this so maybe thats crazy and is already taken care of in how its run

    Hi all,

    Just to give you a heads up, I am unlikely to make this Thursday due to having to nip back to the UK.

    I would have loved to have made it and given you all a few tips on how to use the internet to gather market intelligence as well as generate sales leads.

    I hope you all still make the meeting. There are so many entrepreneurial problem-solvers at these meetings that I believe there is a very powerful "collective intelligence" that can be used to brain storm each person's problems in turn and come up with innovative and creative avenues they can then explore.
