In WIT, at least, Yes. You must be under the School of Science/School of Computing, Maths & Physics from what I gather.

I'm doing a Bsc in IT in WIT so hopefully I'm eligible. Following the link from the OP the selection of free software is impressive!

Iv access and there is a very poor selection of software for the average IT student. Windows 7 was the highlight.

    Visual Studio 2008 Professional
    Access 2007

Both very good, especially visual studio, any IT student should be aware of different programming environments. Also, Visual Studio 2010 is available through Dreamspark.

I do a lot of C# and C++ of which Visual Studio is great for. Sometimes I feel my course should be orientated towards C and not java

    Also available is
    Visio Professional 2007
    Project Professional 2007

How do we get access to that guys? I'm in an engineering course which is the school of Science as far as I know, should I just have access or do I have to apply? Thanks!
