We`re currently putting a 5-piece together of singer, 2 guitars, bass and drums. We`re looking for a solid bass player with experience who can keep the groove going with beefy notes and "lock in" with the drummer.

We`re not looking for a Flea or technique wizard, more a guy who knows how to make a simple bassline resonate. Is that you? If so and you`re based around Dublin, can you please mail me with more info about yourself at: sorchalyons@gmail.com?

The genre could be loosely described as rock/pop/indie, the kind of material that gets daytime airplay on the likes of Phantom or Today FM. Our singer is an avid songwriter and 3 of her songs are at: www.myspace.com/catlundy.

This is an organised project where a management team, (of which I`m a part), will try to enable the band members to ultimately make their living from playing music. It wont happen overnight but at least if that`s your ambition in music, then we can certainly help to make it more possible to achieve.

    Regards, Sorcha

    Hi Catmandoo,

I am a bass player for the last 17 years with full stage set up and a love for the kind of bass lines you refer to. can provide samples of my work if needed.

    Thanks,

    Col
