    As a fan though you would have to be gutted if the players were offering to pay for your ticket after such a poor performance. I wonder how many away fans there were out of interest.

    At a guess, I'd have said there were about 500-600 at a push.

    Wonder what the Wigan players would have done..say it was a FA cup game and there were 2,000.

    Never the less, a good gesture and nice to see in this modern day of greed. Fair play to them all the same.
