Is it worth my while getting Drakes fortunes ? thats the first uncharted. It was released a few years ago and might seemed dated now.

The second one is out and I wanted to know is it worth getting the first game

    100% yes.

It's still a fantastic game and when you play the sequel you'll be blown away

I think it is worth it. Probably real cheap too.
Play it first and then prepare to be blown away when you play U2.

Get U1 without a doubt, I haven't gotten U2 yet but if anything, U1 will serve to make you appreciate U2 even more, because apparently the best has gotten better!

obviously depends how long you play for but its a fairly short game so a weekend rental would def finish it (bit longer if you play through a second time at crushing, possibly a week or so)
€20 is a bit steep for a 2 year old game in my opinion (although it does still stand up well against 90% of what has been released since). retailers are obviously just making a quick buck given the popularity of the second installment and new slim owners who may not have played the first

    Uncharted 1 & 2 is a keeper definitely worth a buy! :D

So much replay value in both, I still have U1 and U2, the only games I ever kept for my PS3 (along with MGS). I tend to trade them in once I've finished.

    Classic old-skool, seat-of-your-pants, danger-at-every-turn gaming...

I got my copy a few months ago for €11 in Game, so i wouldn't pay €20 for it. Check out the pre-owned games section.

Also its deffo worth your while getting it. I finished the first one a month ago, and i cant wait for the second one :D

Yes get U1 its a brilliant game, I got it at the turn of the year for €15 in Smyth's in the pre-owned section, HMV now have great offer too. U2 also brilliant, you'll finish the 2 games fairly quick but play again and again.
Anyone else find crushing in U1 harder than U2?

I haven't played Crushing in U2 yet, but I hope it's easier than the first game! Blindfire became my friend on Crushing...
