Olympic road race 04 - ?

Am trying to find video footage of this race. Found a really, really crappy torrent file out there that could in fact be a kids drawing of the race its that bad. But I am looking for a good quality copy of the footage. Cost is no problem.

So far I am drawing a blank on the web. I don't suppose anyone has this recorded at home ?

Just checked two torrent sites I use, both have the same crappy video the LeMOND upload, was there a DVD of this ever released ?

Cheers Junior, I got the Lemond release, awful but better than nothing. I think I have more or less emptied that site now ! Thanks for the tip. Yeah I spotted those ones on Amazon but theres no info on how much of the road race is there. Ideally I'd like the whole thing, but if its a highlight reel about 30-60 minutes long thats good too.

I would steer clear of those Amazon ones - the review on the 4-disc on the site includes:
"Disc 1 is the entire opening ceremony; disc 4 is the entire closing ceremony. One of the other 2 is general highlights; the last is Greek athlete highlights"
The other one is a 90 minute disc covering everything, including opening and closing ceremonies - I guess cycling will be lucky to get a couple of minutes on either compilation, and most of that will probably be from the track.

Hi Quigs, Have been recording most of the major races for many years but not the most organised person when comes to cataloging! Will check to see if I have this but will take few days as busy at the moment. Will pm you if I have it.

Checked with a few nerds on Twitter, same story that LeMOND version seems to be the only one floating around, I'll keep looking for you however..
