Platinum Trophies

I read that the Platinum trophy in Terminator: Salvation is the easiest Platinum trophy there is. Does anyone else know of any games with easy Platinums?

Also, how many Platinum trophies have you managed to win, and what games were they in?

As far as I can remember I'm close enough to the Dead Space Platinum.

Any one with online trophies I think is impossdible, well for me anyway.

Yeah terminator salvation is the easiest plat ever, I rented it and got the plat in 6 hours. Initially I wasent interested in trophies either but they add another level of accomplishment to games.

Mine are:
Fallout 3
Borderlands
X-Men Oragins Wolverine
inFamous
Uncharted 2
And Terminator Salvation :rolleyes:


Other easy plat's are kids games like, UP,Cloudy with a chance of meatballs,Ice age 3,Hannah montanna :pac:

Easy trophies: Uncharted(both of them), RE5, Dead Space, Fallout 3 and Resistance 2.
They must be easy, I got them.

Dont just play the games to get the plats. if you play a useless game just to get the plat it becomes tiresome and unenjoyable, ive some plats and am proud to have em because some are hard got like demons souls and ive nearly the endwar plat if it wasnt for the glitched online trophy :mad:. Play to enjoy is my motto

I heard hannah Montana is the easiest plat, i know of people who rented it just for the plat. Wrestlemania legends was a pretty easy. Rented it for 2 days and got the plat in a few hours.

You do realise that these aren't mutually exclusive, and also the act of playing a game to gain a platinum trophy is equal in purpose to playing any game at all for any reason. If anything, I think the platinum forces you to play outside of your comfort zone and leaves you with a greater sense of achievement.

It's like playing a game of soccer with no goalie. Yes you are going to get the ball in the net, but wouldn't you rather there be a goalie in the way so you feel you actually achieved something.

Easy Platinums are a bit pointless though, it's like kicking the goalie in the balls then scoring the goal, I have the Terminator: Salvation one, but I actually didn't mind that game I was going to play it anyway regardless of the trophies.

All this being said, if it's a toss up between playing a game on the PC with better graphics or playing it on the PS3 for the trophies, I'll always play it on the PC.

Haha great list - my list Uncharted (both of them) COD WAW, DeadSpace, Fallout3, Buzz Quiz TV. Similarities???
Fair play for getting Resistance2...I heard the 10,000kills online is a pain?

You're spot on mate...foolishly I bought Godfather2 for €20, I don't like it and if I finish, it will only be for the Platinum...bad mistake.
I have some games that I love but will never Platinum - Virtua Tennis09 (500 online wins, no thanks) and Burnout (no camera).

Some games I hope to Platinum but only play because I enjoy:
PES10 - I've won the online trophies so its just a matter of time although the 5 direct free kicks is a pain, I've got 1 to date.
Modern Warfare2 - the Special Ops ones required for the Plat, great fun all the same.

I like the goalkeeper analogy. Very good.
It does goes an extra edge to games alright. I have a good few games that i have finished that dont have any trophy capability.
The warhawk platinum is the hardest id say. This guy has one :

Some crazy trophies to get though that i will NEVER get :
Kill an enemy who is flying a jetpack by hitting him with any vehicle or aircraft.

Impressive stuff with the Warhawk Platinum, great game but I simply don't have the time to finish it off.

Assassin's Creed 2 and Batman: Arkham Asylum are easy platinums, assuming the trophies are the same as the achievments, which they always are.

Maybe I'm just crap at it, but I wouldn't consider Batman to be an easy achievement game.

It's even easier now I would think. The dlc challenge maps add to your total stars (bats) I think so you don't need to 3 star everything, which I did like a sucker.

Also, the collectibles were done in a way that it was actually fun to get them.

Aye, but you still have to play through it on hard (I could barely get past the first group of thugs!:o)
It may not be the hardest game out there, but I wouldn't put it on the same level as something that you can just breeze through in 6 hours and get a plat at the end of it...
