BMW 330d Msport (2006) Flat Spot

    All,

I have a 2006 BMW 330d (manual). I was cruising along in 6th gear at 120kph (about 1800rpm) and I'm experiencing a flat spot (or some form of engine hesitation). I have no warning lights flashing at me and the system check states "Check OK". The engine also seems fine when accelerating and cruising at 100kph. Does anyone have any idea's?

    Cheers

    From www.Honestjohn.co.uk
Flat spots of and lack of power or M47 and M57 diesels due to a known problem with the wire mesh air mass sensor. When replaced, must reprogramme ECU to match new meter. Lack of power also caused by cracked inlet manifolds. Misfires of M47/M57 caused by failed injectors.
