Filling in the form for the SJA now my JSB is up.

If you are over 25 and living with you folks do you have to fill in the house hold income etc?

Also what is an ERIN number?

    Thanks in advance.

You will be means tested for JSA regardless of your age.

If you are under 25 and living in the family home your parents' income will be taken into account for the means test. Once you are over 25 it is only your income which is taken into account.

I'm aware of this but the forms still ask for incomes of everyone in the household. Does this mean I can leave that out? I have no idea what they earn TBH and I'd rather not ask.

The stickies and www.citizensinformation.ie will give you a more comprehensive answer, but in its simplest terms they'll be checking what savings you have, your recent bank statements, and any and all possible income sources - if your granny gives you a fiver for doing the messages, that's technically income.
