Stephen sets out on a road trip without leaving his home in this surreal, genre-bending comedy from the director of cult TV sensation The Mighty Boosh.
Stephen (Edward Hogg) is a compulsive recluse who attempts to block out the past by adopting a very strict routine and avoiding human interaction at all costs. His safe haven is disrupted, however, when he discovers that mice have nibbled their way through his entire stock of freeze-dried vegetarian lasagne. Forced to order in from a local branch of fast-food restaurant Captain Crab's, Stephen is suddenly reminded of an ill-fated trip he took around Europe with his womanising friend Bunny (Simon Farnaby). Without warning, the entire continental adventure is played out right there in his flat, including a terrible incident in Andalusia that resulted in Stephen's self-imposed exile. The question is, can Stephen come to terms with the episode this time round and finally get on with his life?

    Screenplay: Paul King
    Distributor: Optimum
You should see it because: Director Paul King uses brilliantly creative visuals - cardboard cut-outs, clay models, rear projections - and everyday objects to beautifully recreate Stephen's adventure.

It's coming out in March according to Play.com, I'd say HMV will have it too.
