How To Manage Garmin Maps On PC

Hi All, Does anyone know how/if you can manage Garmin maps on your P.C for free like TomTom or Nokia Ovi maps ? If so, how ? I use City Navigator. I got it free a few years ago, but my brother has bought a Garmin 215 and is wondering of he can manage it on his P.C ?

You can use Garmin Mapsource, which is great for actual map adjustments, tracks, POIs, routes etc, and for installing new maps.

Garmin Communicator - is an internet browser plugin, made by Garmin, which may be of more use to you, as it allows the transfer of data with third party suppliers. Google has loads of info about it.
