    Hello,
My windows went in a few weeks ago.
I wanted to use hilti air sealer to fill around the windows before plastering.

Would anyone be able to suggest an alternative to this as it is very expensive?

    Thanks!
    Eddie

I used the Hilti also, but I don't know of any alternative that is flexible and airtight!
You also have to use the Hilti gun, which is expensive also.
It may seem expensive for 'expanding foam' but as a percentage of the overall window cost it ends up being negligible.
Four or Five cans should do the average 4 bed house.

It's also a good idea to Siga tape the windows also!

Will stick to the hilti products.
have quite a lot of windows to fill..would be thinking I need at least 10 cans

Yes, will be using the siga tape also!!
