Problems syncing pad

Ever since the update my pad will only sync when hook up via the mini usb..Every time i disconnect the wire even though they have full battery,it wont assign its self as 1 or 2 player...Can anyone help pls

Had same problem last night, but seems to have sorted itself out! No help though! Sorry! Just keep unplugging and pressing the ps button, hopefully it will fix itself!

Same here, weird thing is it turns on the Ps3. Boot it down and up and it sees it again with no probs.

i heard of this issue occuring on the last update but it also seems to be dropping blue tooth connection since FW 3.10 for me. I actually thought it might be something to do with my cable, I got a usb m/f extender cable from the pound shop so i can stay in bed when im charging my controller lol lazy me but its obviously not that !! seems to be lots of wee glitches in that latest FW release, hopefully we will get another one soon

i had the same problem untill i reset my controllers using the pinhole on the back.

I switched off the ps3 plugged in controller and switched it on again from the controller, unplugged the controller and it stayed on then.

Happened me twice since the update, turning the console off then on again fixes it, otherwise use a toothpick or something to reset the controller then plug it into the ps3 via the usb cable and pres the "PS" button.

same.. lost bluetooth connection ONCE - didn't know wtf.. pretty damn silly when updates / new releases take an apparent step forward but two steps back its like paula abdul all over again AAAARGH wha-t is with this update culture give me the finished product and leave me the f- alone

is this still a problem for all of ye..it is for me..its really annoying to have to sit right next to the tv to play a game

how do i update to this patch then..i go online every few days and have got no update that fixed it..

Goto the second option on the cross media bar (settings) and go up to "system update". The last update is just over 200MB
