    Good day to you all,

I'm a 20 year old guitarist living in North Dublin. I've never really played in band, or in fact, outside my bedroom so just looking for a bit of craic beating out some chords with someone/s. Drummers/Guitarist/ Bassists/Keyboardists/Trumpeters/Violinists/Pianists *sniggers*/Harpists - whatever you can play I'd be more than happy to play with you.

I'd probably say I'm a decent guitarist if nothing particularly outstanding. Comfortable with my chord shapes and I like messing around with tunings. Certainly not going to be bashing out death metal solos or anything I like to think I'm creative and in some way competent. I'm a fairly nervous soul mind so although I'm convinced of my own vocal talents, showing it off is a chore. And my hands have a tendency to vibrate like a hyperactive dildo when I'm stressed so if I miss a note, blame that.

Influences would be nigh on everything. Particularly into what the kids call indie - Interpol, Sufjan Stevens, LCD Soundsystem, The National, Los Campesinos!, Why?, M83, The Knife, The Hold Steady and that sort of craic but I have been caught listening to techno, metal and eh...Rihanna at one point or another. Pretty open minded though, I'll listen to anything before I decided if it's horse****.

In terms of equipment I just have my guitar, although one of the tone knobs fbroke off and I've yet to fix it so that's a pain and just a microamp which makes some cool noises now and then. Have access to a piano, which I can sort of play, and violin as well if necessary. Dunno about rehersal/practice space and so forth, my bedroom's pretty small though we could squeeze a drum kit in. Maybe.

I'm a student so money and availability are a tad bit tight but sure we can work around that.

Anyway, think I've covered everything there so if you're interested or even just not scared by that ramble, gimme a shout on here. Cheers:)
