Reporting Bogus Claims

I know for a fact that two people I work with are deliberately refusing to work more than two days so that they can claim the dole on the side. These people are both 20 and living at home which just makes it inexcusable. I'm just wondering if I actually made an anonymous call to the department of social and family affairs would it be likely to lead anywhere? Would the small amount of knowledge I have on these individuals be of any use to them? I don't want to cause too much hassle for myself either. Thanks in advance.

Fire them and get staff who actually want the extra hours and are committed to you!

Yes, go ahead and call the local office.
Fraud may be handled by a central section so the local office will give you the correct contacts if they can't handle it.

You only work with them so its none of your Business, if you where the owner etc.. then it would be an issue.

I don't pay tax to support these people buying nice shoes and going on holidays when they are turning down extra hours offered to them.

It's the business of every tax payer.

And for people on benefits too , there is only so much money to go around. The more dogey claims , the less money for the legitimate ones.
