    Hi

the xbox only reads drives formatted in FAT but my new Western Digital harddrive came NTFS. I cant seem to figure out how to convert it or if it is even possible.

Windows XP dosent seem to let me and I d/l'ed an app called swissknife which a bit of googling suggested i try to do it but it said it could only format 500GB's and it looked as if the other 500 would be useless.

I'm a bit lost basically i want to convert it if it is possible to use on the XBOX .

    thanks in advance

    EF

Download fat32formatter. That formatted a 1tb hard drive for me.

AlmightyCushion recommended that to me a while back, worked perfectly with my PS3 and 360. :)

Fat32 won't let you store files that are greater than 4GBs in size. That's pretty much it.

This is what multiple partitions are made for. One partition in NTFS, store all of your big files. Another in FAT32, readable by Xbox.
