    :pac:

Misandry is on the agenda at the moment (not, as in, being addressed - just practised).

    Miss who?

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

I agree - this is an exercise in sh1t-stirring by RTE. And this should be in the TV forum. :o

Oh the battle of the sexes?

Or Miss Andry versus Miss Ogyny, who aren't as fun as Phil Andry and Phil Ogyny.

    Meh.

Sceptre doesn't have Irish telly and isn't interested in watching or taking part in the ten thousand year war or the idiots who insist on prolonging it. Call me when it's over.

(for those that are lost, the RTE TV listings say there's a show on RTE 1 right now called Battle of the Sexes ("A two-part investigation of the state of modern Irish men, women and their relationship with each other. Here, women of Ireland join Miriam O'Callaghan to discuss men's roles today"), which sounds like a very interesting show to be watching in 1969). I'm sure it's available on the RTE player thing but there's Top Gear on BBC2, a rerun of Lewis on ITV3 and last week's House (which I need to watch before tomorrow's) to choose from instead.

You should have just started a AH thread on this as then people could have posted anytime and it will be on RTE Player soon also.

I started a thread but it got closed cause of this one :(

    Gah, my head's somersaulting!

All I know is: I'm a woman and I got my wish. You (man)... didn't. :pac:

Seriously though, it's horrible stuff. Those women - well please don't make the mistake of viewing them as representative of all women.

It's like they took all the back-patting crap from The Afternoon Show and purified it before infecting those women with it.

Pity I'm missing the lads' retorts. :pac:

When I was a child, Nell McCafferty was on the TV so much I assumed she had her own RTE hammock. These days we don't get Nell but we get John Waters instead talking about life as a father and growing up on the wrong side of the tracks in Castlerea (which incidentally has a train station so it's theoretically possible). We also get Ivana Bacik, who doesn't appear to get the concept of equality.

I almost miss Nell. She had a point when she talked, at least much of the time.

    Women are better at multitasking.

    Yawn.

If find it hard to believe women are better at multitasking when they obviously don't even know what the word means.
