Batista the heel.

For me this is a welcome change. Batista was a guy that bored me.

I thought he needed something to bring his persona back to life and draw fans in.

I think the heel turn makes him more interesting. Last time he was a heel he was part of a group. It will be interesting to see what he can do by himself in the heel role.

I think another Taker v Batista feud would even work again now the role of heel and face is the clearly defined.

If he become WHC champ again down the line, the big strong animal as a bad guy is well placed to help create a new star babyface.

What do you think of Batista now he has switched to being a heel?

A heel tirn was so badly needed. They should book him as a total monster heel, destroying everyone in his path, like Lesnar when he arrived first.

It's good that he finally turned heel but they really should've turned him last year when he was feuding with HBK after Flair retired.

I could also care less about him feuding with Mysterio,hopefully he will just destroy him tonight and then move onto taker!

It was well overdue, he's been stale for years. Now only if the live crowds go along with it we'll be laughing.

Never really saw why he was a face in the first place. Much more suited as a heel. Now all he needs to do is lose his entrance pyro (cos it's still kinda face-ish) and this could be great

I dont think he has the mic skills to come across as a badass heel.

I reckon Batista was always at his best as the right hand man. The protection role.

It will be interesting to see how things pan out......

Just thinking the Batista Taker feud can't go on that long with the road to mania coming up.

With Jo Mo taking on McIntyre I wonder is the time right to have Batista become the Heel champion on Smackdown and have him feud with Morrison?

Morrison is a natural performer in the ring and his style could be a nice Balance to Batista's. McIntyre could become IC champ. All 3 Guys would benefit fron such a move. The WWE even have a Morrison DVD in the works and the extra profile of a WHC feud could help them push his DVD:p.

If Batista wants to come across as a monster heel he needs to give the chin locks a miss. His matches have been even more boring than usual.

I actually can't believe this has happened.

Batista is fresh and interesting. I have to say, he works far better as a heel. He could never be a great face, his mic work just isnt good enough.

As a heel though, he works. He has the perfect look/mannerisms for a heel. Personally, I hope he beats down on the Undertaker come Sunday. Have him as a heel champion for a while.

What do the rest of you guys think? For me, its the first time in a LONG time that Batista face on my tv doesnt have me reaching for the fast forward button.
