I placed 3 bets today on GAA matches.
1st bet was on Clara to beat Portlaoise,2nd was on Moyle Rovers to beat Kerin o Rahillys and the 3rd was a double of the two previous bets.
But i placed the bets at 2.20pm today but the Moyle Rovers match started at 2.00pm but i tought it was due to start at 2.30pm like the Clara game. Moyle Rovers ended up losing, but can i get my money due to the fact that there was no live betting on the match? Secondly the Clara portlaoise games was called off 5 minutes into 2nd half due to bad weather,do i get my money back on that bet aswel? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

the after the off is a non runner. The called off game will depend on your bookmakers rules

Of course it does , all bets placed after the off-time are void win or lose ,
unless of course it was an in-running price for an in-running event , so that means your Moyle Rovers bet is void .
I would be fairly certain that every bookmaker accepts on GAA club games on a 60 mins play basis , so therefore any stakes on Clara , Portlaoise or the draw should also be refunded ( as well as first goalscorers , winning margins etc. ) , naturally enough if this is the case your double should also be returned .

Everything you say is true, however ive often placed bets on soccer when a game would be say two minutes old or so, however its a bookies i would be known in and iv never had any hassle with..Although even in other bookies i occasionally have done bets on games a couple of minutes old and sometimes the staff would be busy to check it up and put it through.. On some of those bets iv lost i suppose i couldve tryed to claim back, technically the bet is void isnt it?

If the letter of the law , so to speak , was followed then the bets placed late would be void , but the bookies where you were known would be entitled to argue that they took the bet in good faith from you and in anycase in some sporting events ( such as football games ) there is a grace period in which bets will be accepted after the actual off time provided there has been no score or significant development in that event , in such cases the bookies would be very unlikely to return your stake .

look at this way - if you were trying a sneaky one and 1 team was ahead by 5/6 points would the bookie pay out then?
