    Howya,

Need to get a haircut in Dublin for the first time, can anywhere recommend some places that will give a proper cut and not charge anything extreme? I've no problem venturing into town either, very brave.

    Thanks!

I assume you're around DCU? Omni is good, went there the other day. Called Clippers, upstairs. €13, not bad. Especially considering that it was just a scissor cut, no razor. I hate bloody razors...

There's a barber in the Hub. Upstairs in where the pool tables are. I haven't been there since last year, but I found him great. Cheap enough too as far as I can remember.

He's gone since roughly half way through the semester last year.

I found him expensive and only middin as a barber. A friend of mine once went to him and had to go to another barber straight after due to the job he done.

Joe's on Drumcondra Road is fairly decent and Ed's on Abbey Street does a decent cut aswell, both for €10. Depends what exactly you're after though.

I saw a barber in there just before Reading Week cutting somebody's hair

At least I hope he was a barber!

Grafton Barber in Arnotts before 12 is 9 euro for a student. Great barbers!! No problems, have never heard anyone complain about it. Just go there! It's what I am doing first thing in the morning.

He seems to be in occasionally, but it's empty more often than not really

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Pretty sure I saw a poster in the nuBAR sayin that the barber was back. Mon-Thurs I think.

theres a barber right across the road from DCU(at the centra/macari shops)

if you dont want to go to that one theres a barber in glasnevin at the row of shops beside the church across from the botanic gardens.
I think theres some in ballymun too but they pull lumps of your hair out instead of cutting it!!!!!!!!!
