Sky Sports has agreed an eight-year deal to televise US PGA golf tournaments from 2010.

Sky Sports viewers will be able to watch the world's richest tour live and in High Definition, featuring the game's biggest stars such as Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson on a regular basis.

Sky Sports already boasts extensive live coverage of the European Tour, as well as selected Champions Tour, LPGA Tour and European Women's Tour events.

The agreement with the US PGA includes live coverage of the Players Championship, the FedEx Cup and the Presidents Cup.

Sky Sports will now show live coverage from more than 150 golf tournaments in 2010

So now do they have everything? Like, they still have the majors and wgcs??

I stopped getting sky when the golf was split.

Would be tempted to get it again now

Now if they only get rid of Bruce Critchley then things will be perfect.

Thanks Trampas. This is good news. No more watching the closing holes over a dodgy internet stream.

Critchley is a fine commentator in my opinion. Rob Lee on the other hand is seriously starting to get on my Bristol Citys!

Agreed. Didn't enjoy the banter between Lee and Howell during yday's final round. Felt a bit forced whereas Critchley and Murray are much more natural.

Agree, don't think Howell is too suited to commentating to be honest

His hand movements on the wrap up segments were funny.

Thinking seriously now of getting Sky Sports with all the upcoming golf coverage this year. Their marketing team have done a right job on me… €30 on top of the normal package each month, suppose I’ll save in the long road as I always go out out to watch Heineken cup games and might stay away from the RDS a little more (what a crap justification for getting it!).
