    Hi

I'm looking for a dentist that does out of hours, mainly for today (Sunday).
Preferably in the Midlands area but to be honest at this stage I would travel.

If there is no such thing as an out of hours dentist would I be wasting my time going direct to A&E as the doctor is not going to do much for me only charge me 50 euro and send me for an X-Ray.

most dentists will see their patients out of normal office hours if there is an emergency. If you don't visit a dentist regularly and don't have a relationship with a dentist and are now in a bit of a jam (in pain?) surely going to the local a&e wouldn't be considered a waste of money if you were fixed up with appropriate pain relief medication? They will usually provide painkillers and antibiotics if necessary and may have the number of a local on call dentist.

Swift Care in Dundrum, Dublin has weekend sessions. Probably too late for you now (I only just read this thread). However they charge a hefty premium for the service.

if you are really stuck and haven't gotten help yet you can pm me with details of your problem and I may be able to advise better.
