    was going to head to Cork next weekend but i think that will get a miss now :rolleyes:.. going to head to Wexford now next weekend.

    Just seen the Quay Casino..

    anyone have any experience playing here?

    what's the standard like?
    rake on cash games?
    mebership issues?
    etc

    any info would be greatly appreciated

    i pulled in there on evening at about 10.30 r so looking for a cash game but there was none. was a few at the gambling tables alright but no poker. maybe it was just a quiet nite i called.

    There is another 1 just outside wexford town the newbay hotel and casino. its a bit out in the sticks but worth the effort.
    i played there 4 nites out of the week i was there and they had good numbers for the tourneys (4 tables if rem correct) the were running and when they finished 2 full tables of cash.

    full free bar for all money players (i didnt indulge) good friendly staff and nice athmosphere.

    i'm from Wexford so have played there a couple of times, 2 games 1-2nl and 2-5nl you'll get a game from about 11pm on friday & Saturday! Great game if u wana play with drunks! the 2-5 gmae plays fairly big aswell which is nice if your runnin good!


    The Newbay has a tourny on thursday €55 incl reg 3500 chips 20 mins blinds... has good cash action (1-2nl) from like 10.30pm on thursday, friday, saturday, plenty of cash around that place aswell.

    rake: Quay casino, not to sure fairly there's a €20 cap on the rake in the 2-5 game. Newbay, can't remember but i think its standard enough!

    Memeber ship: free membership, sign up on the night some id required, if your lucky enough to look younger than 18!

    Dont think it runs every thursday i was lookin to get into a while back and it never got goin!!
