new itunes-old ipod

    Hey guys!

    I just got a new laptop, and have downloaded Itunes onto it, Im just wondeirng if there is a way I can transfer my old library to my new laptop via my ipod or do i have to do it manually through discs and usbs etc? I dont want to erase my ipod, i just want the songs that are on it to come up on my new Itunes on my laptop...any tips? Thanks! :)

    There's a few tools that do what you need. I think "anapod copygear" is one, and there are a few others too.

    I've done it twice with anapod. Works perfectly.

    Key thing is - do not connect your iPod to the PC with the empty iTunes open and accidentaly synch or it'll delete everything.
