Feel swamped, trouble with motivation

I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem, so hopefully this can be more of a discussion than an intervention. Anyway.

The last few months, since going back to college really, I've started to feel really overwhelmed with work. It's not just college, I also play a lot of music, I'm doing high grades in 2 instruments, with weekly lessons, music theory classes, orchestra rehearsals, and do some part time teaching.

I'm expected to do about 3 hours practice a day, on top of college, and reading/essays outside college. I know I should be able to do all of this, but I just can't seem to get myself to do it. Days slip by when I only do work due for the next day etc. and a lot of the time I end up not going to classes/tutorials because I haven't got the work done.

The college work is fine, I'm doing well and usually get everything done in good time, but I can't seem to find the time/ motivate myself to do the other work too. I don't socialize a huge amount, a have a girlfriend who I see a lot, and I usually go out once a twice a week, depending. I really want to be able to just do everything, and I've been trying to make myself for months, even years, but I just can't seem to do it.

    Anyone have any advice?

    What are you studying?

Everyone goes through this in college, at least I did aswell as many of my mates.. you have to find a balance in things

It's a decisive time in your life, the things that are important to you seem to rise to the top, if music is your main passion then maybe that's the path you need to follow

either way you need to make allowances for the things that are immediately important to you

I'm doing history, the hours are quite light but there's a huge amount of reading, assignments and essays to due.

Music is a passion, but I can't let it affect college work, because college is more important in the long term. I also don't have the option of giving up any of my music, as I've paid until May, and paid a lot.
