Anyone know the name of the book about the bloke who managed to go from a mid 20s handicap to shoot below par in the space of 12 months ?

I've recently read it as I continue my recouperation from this broken ankle. Its a good read, a bit short maybe but enjoyable nonetheless.
You will learn from it, the importance of a good short game and the mental side of golf in particular.

I read it while on holiers earlier this year and really enjoyed it - Just shows you how the mental side of the game works but he did put in some serious effort all the same .. He had highs and lows along his journey & a very supporting wife !!!

    Well worth a read.

(OP could be just a little misleading. Its not as if he got to scratch or anywhere near it from the twentysomething handicap. His aim was more specific - a par round on one course which he played endlessly. Nor did the round have to be official such as a qualifying comp or anything. Simply witnessed so that a card could be signed.)
