I'd say it would be hard to find an open scrapyard on sunday - they normally operate during regular office hours.

Not much help to you, but I have noticed over the last year or so that a lot of the major breakers have gone to a 5 day week, and don't open Saturdays, much less Sundays.

There's a guy in Naas, first exit heading south, then head into the town, through 1 or 2 roundabouts, then left at the Toyota Garage, down a wee lane, ya'll see his sign then..

There's also a guy off Dorset St, which might be handier than Naas... At the end of the lane beside chipper near NCR. I'd say Myles Balfe would do it too - Phibsborough Rd near Fire Station (also on southside).

    I highly recommend - Almax

I've used Almax on the Cromwellfort road they did a good job on the alternator rebuild,I took my old one out and he had one in stock already so it was a straight swap , great attention to detail and it was repainted . Very helpful as well, cost me a €100 or so at the time.
