    Hi,

I am deciding whether to invest in a 32gb itouch. I want an decent mp3 player for on the bus, with album covers and playlists. I currently have a 2gb Creative Stone plus, an Archos 605 Wifi, Sony eReader, DS Lite and plenty of other gadgets!

I am wondering do I really need an itouch? I know probably a stupid question but I decided to ask anyways!!

    Thanks,

    Branners

The iPod Touch does nearly, if not all that your other devices do. Amazing how handy the Touch is really. Only problem is, when you realise that all you are missing is phone functionality......:D

Can I ask what you mainly use your iPod Touch (:o) for?

    Gaming, music, browsing...?

All of the above plus Email while out and about, keeping some documents with me that I need access to on the move. Brought a full series of the Wire away on holidays for those rainy nights:eek:

Thanks for the reply, I think I'll go for one.

Just have to find a 32gb one for the right price!

Got a 32GB iPod touch last month after losing my beloved old iPod at a club and I must say, I really love it so far. Although there are a few little things that annoy me but I think thats just down to me being fussy. I would definitely recommend getting one, eBay do very cheap ones aswell. I got mine brand new for €190 including p&p, its just a bit sketchy waiting for it to arrive!

You will love your new ipod touch, until you see that the person next to you on the bus has an iphone.

I used to have a 1st gen ipod touch but upgraded to a White 16gb iphone 3G.
So I know what I am talking about :D

@ DaaaaaaaaaaN, would you have the ebay seller details of who you used? Thanks!

@ ScrubsfanChris, I constantly leave my phone behind me and because its an old Nokia N73 I get it back!!! I doubt I would be lucky enough to get an iphone back!!

The iPod touch is great. I recently upgraded from 1g to a 32gb 3g and find myself using it more than ever.

I use it for web browsing, email, music, video, games. I also use it as a remote control while streaming music from my iTunes library to my hifi in the front room and can also stream all my video media from my mac to it over wifi which is coded to the right format on the fly.

I can also access and stream my iTunes library to it in a wifi area anywhere on the planet.
