It feels like the whole movie is in the trailer.

Seems to be picking up a bit of buzz alright - I like Jason Reitman (in general - say what you will about Juno's script, but it was directed with a lot of flair and energy IMO) and the (early) trailer looks promising. Hopefully the hype machine won't kick in overtime, which can be a film's greatest downfall!

I think if Morgan Freeman's performance in Invictus doesn't deliver as people expect, it's between Clooney and Colin Firth (for A Single Man) for the best actor oscar.

Wow - George Clooney must be one of the busiest men in Hollywood right now - "The Men Who Stare At Goats", "Fantastic Mr. Fox" and now comes this...one suspects he could empathise greatly with the protagonist of this film, which looks novel and intelligent...as are most Clooney vehicles, minus the exception of Batman and Robin, but we've all forgiven that by now surely! It has to be said, he's a very consistent actor.

I also wish Jason Bateman was afforded a lead role now and then and would stop taking support roles i.e. Juno - Hancock - Couples Retreat. He's amazingly talented, and I can't help but feel if he was given the chance, he could blow people away (given the script was actually good!!!) rather than surprise them with his ability.
