im a bass player and i sing too. dont really sing and play that well together though. Im 21, what age are u? im into covers rock stuff for the pub scene etc. Im in the process of setting up a band in bailieborough, im playing bass and bit of singing. Have a guitar player. Have a drummer too and another drummer to try out. Have full Pa and lighting rig all top of the range. woz hoping youd come over to us to try out for lead vocal position maybe bit of guitar.

***Update*** I now have a bass player so that position is gone, still looking for another guitarist and drummer though, or anyone for that matter who has an instrument and wants to join a band, just pm me with your details.

Hi Alan, to be honest I used to do the music and I thought there before Christmas that I'd give it a shot, but my idea turned out to be rather unrealistic, I have no mics, no amps, no leads, no p.a, system, no money to get any of it and I'm just stuck with my acoustic and strings I havnt changed in months :pac:

so in summary: I'm an absolute mess and unless you can convince me otherwise, I'm not worth the bother lol.

Hope you find a workin band for yourself soon.

i'm also a guitar player in dundalk, would you be interested in doing a 2 piece? and maybe expand at a later date to a 4 piece? i've played fulltime for 4 years on the irish coverband circut but took time out to work a 9 to 5 job for a while, so if yar interested in doing summit gimme a bell,

dunno really wouldn mind doing something different, it'd be cool to get a couple of us together and get some input from everyone on a setlist, i've a idea i've had for a while now but involves a really good singer and there hard to find, do ya have everything ya need for a gig equipment wise?
