I was hoping someone can help me. I installed a belkin pci card the other day and now i can't connect to the internet, the problem is with my computer and not with the broadband itself (i'm connected to the same network on a laptop so it's coming in alright) i spent nearly an hour tallkin with my isp tech guy and he kept getting a ip address of 192.168.1.111 which he thinks came from the pci card. i've replaced the network card but still can't connect. is there any info you need to try and sort this out.
    Thanks:(:o

What is the PCI card? Ethernet, Wifi? A PCI card can't give an IP address, only a router can do this. 192.168.x.x is a local address, so the ISP won't have a clue about that, nor will they be able to see it. You must have a router in your system to be setting that, or you've set an IP address manually and it's in the wrong range.

That's probably it right there. If the router is 192.168.1.1, then 10.0.35.61 is never going to work. Change the PC's IP address to the same range as the router, or switch to DHCP. Default Gateway should be the router's IP address too and Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0

your ip config says your dhcp is disabled so i'm guessing you've input all the rest manually copying the setup from another pc/laptop. did you also copy the exact same ip? if you did that it's going to cause a conflict and it won't work.

if a network card wasn't getting an ip from a router the ip would start with 168 not 192.
