Compaq laptop - opinions?

Saw this on Currys website. http://www.currys.co.uk/martprd/product/305425 I'll be in England next week so would be able to get at the sterling price. Has anyone any experience of Compaq laptops? I'm not going to be gaming, just internet and word processor really.

A celeron processor isn't great,But my room mate has this machine and it does what you say perfectly,Go for it..

If you just want a laptop for basic things then it is a fair deal.
