Broken Laptop Key... Samsung NC10

    Hi Guys,

I have just done something really silly:o. I had a key not responding/working on my Samsung NC10 netbook. Of course I had to investigate and lifted out a couple of keys. I think I broke a retainer hinge on one and now I have a key which will not go back in place plus the key still does not do anything when pressed and some of the other keys around it are acting up now too.

I probably should confess that I cannot find the tiny little bit I broke off.:o:o

So where do I go from here.. the laptop is about 8 months old. Have I completely destroyed it or is it possible or worthwhile to get it repaired?

All replies would be really appreciated.

I just had a quick look there and ebay seems to have them from €15ish, it's definitely not a lost cause, it should be quite straight forward to swap out a keyboard on a laptop.

Also try searching on Youtube for instructional videos for replacing the NC10 keyboard, some might be very helpful
