    Is there anyone in particular that does cheaper commercial insurance?

    Not when I was shopping around ..... I tried them all and went for the cheapest I could find.

    I have found the commercial side of insure.ie very reasonable. Ring them rather than their website.

    Thanks, I did a quote for a passenger one there and it worked out at €600, maybe commercial is cheaper. Will find out on Monday.

    I have heard that Setanta is good, I am with FBD myself but will be shopping around come Feb.

    FBD came back with €640, and €700 for open drive (max no claims bonus)

    have you tried www.insuremyvan.ie yet. i seen them on another thread today they seem ok. i rang them about my pajero. its a 2.5 diesel turbo. €360. plus they will cover all my tools for another €365 or €1 a day. cant argue with that
