    I'm riding a Giant FCR3 which seems to be similarly specced to the Defy. Really like the bike, comfy ride, nice and quick etc. It's my first new bike in about 30 years and the bike I replaced was well old and tired.

    I don't know the cube at all but the Tiagra groupset is a notch up from the Sora groupset on the Defy. Mind you, so's the price...

    sounds like you might have trouble getting the giant in stock. was out there a few weeks back, and giant were doing their heads in ... no stock available
