    i know i know theres 100 threads on this but quick question,
    if a van up the north has 1 years mot, will this apply when you bring it down south and vrt it?? or do you have to DOE it.??

    Usually better to find one, that has been made ready for MOT, but hasn't been MOT'd yet, as you might be able to negotiate the price down by a few bob, saving the dealer the fee and hassle to do it.

    And no, the MOT does not transfer in any way to the republic.
