    Hi all,
    My brother was just offered a place on an a HGV fas course in Limerick. The fas course is in Shannon Business Park, Ballysimon Road. Does anybody know if this is a safe area? Also he is looking 4 somewhere to stay, Are there any decent b n bs nearby? Or any places/ areas you could recommend that he could rent an apt/ bedsit or room? We know absolutely nothing about Limerick so any info is much appreciated.:)

    The area is fine. He should not have any problems. As it happens I have a nice 4 bed house I rent out about 15 mins from there and I think one of the guys currently living there is moving out in a week or two. If you might be interested and would like more information just send me a private message.

    Dont listen to media drivel regarding Limerick. Ballysimon rd is safe just off J29 on the M7.

    If he has a car the dooradoyle/ raheen area is a nice place to live. Rent is cheap also compared to other cities.
