Programs for designing posters?

Four of a kind

Anyone know of some handy programs that would enable me to design my own posters/flyers etc.
Am fed up with print companys' charging stupid prices for the design and print of even one poster.

I have photoshop CS2, but I'd like something that has a few templates prebuilt into them so that I can get some help with the design starting off.

Thanks, yeah those are the kind of posters I'd be looking to design....nothing too fancy. Its just want software program to use??:rolleyes:

just copy them into photoshop and change the text. You'll have to paint over the original text with the background colour, then use the text tool to overwrite. There may be copywrite issues though.!

theres no point copying them off the internet there low res and will become pixalated Blurred) when printed, theres no easy way to do it as in templates and that you can get some but they dont look professinal at all, photoshop is youre best bet and really worth learning in the long run, if you need a hand with anything drop me a pm and ill help but unfortunatly theres no easy way to do it thats why those guys can charge those prices
