Mercer are very well known and very reputable. They are a really good firm and have excellent perks and great staff.

What department are you working for? As a fund accountant, or as a pension consultant, or an actuary?

Regardless, they're absolutely brilliant and you're lucky!

I recently interviewed a man who was made redundant from there.

    Very good company to work.

i've two mates working there. one in pensions and another in their investment management department.

seems a sweet place to work. still have free booze on a regular basis which can no longer be said for the accounting firms. also, the two best words in the dictionary of employment......FLEXI TIME!!!!!!!!!!

    It's a playschool in there.

Sorry to revive such an old thread but I have the same question as the OP. Offered a position here and am on the fence about it; could anyone share any insights?

The recruiter is really talking up the flexitime element, though there is no mentioned of it in the contract. Whats the environment like there, is there much of a social side to it?
