Cheap, basic netbook

    Getting one for my mother, she only wants it for web browsing and storing photos, nothing else. I'd like it to have a web-cam actually as she may skype on it.

    What's the best cheap one, if you get me. Thanks.

    So long as she's aware that they are pretty small (9" - 10" screen)

    This is about as good as you'll get.

    I got a Dell mini10 off this guy :

    The one I got was full top spec - 6 cell battery,bluetooth, mini N card, hi-def screen plus a 3 year international warranty from Dell. When I ran all the spec through the Dell site it came to €640, I paid €375. I also got a pink one for my daughter for xmas for €270. The HDMI-out is the deal clincher for me, it works great. If you send him an email and deal off ebay he will give you a further discount - plus you can collect it from his house in the Lucan area. I was a bit worried why they were so cheap but both mine are brand new in the box and were never used. I think he ships for free in Ireland if you cant pick it up.
