Google Chrome OS

    Just installed Google's Chrome operating system using VMware Fusion. I was expecting a stripped down system but unsure if it justifies the term OS. Its basically a web browser and nothing else and all files are managed using Google's online apps.

    Could be good for netbooks with always available internet access but unsure what else!

    Hmmm i did find a backdoor username and password on the interweb.

    Username : mark
    Password : chromeos

    Didnt work for me though. I think its an issue with NAT or bridged.

    Give it a month and see where it stands I'd say.

    I actually love the idea of Chrome. It's true for me - everythingI do is online.

    You are right, the idea is brilliant and it aint saved on your laptop !
    Laptop can boot in 7 seconds, that will get better !
