    Hi guys
Just noticed this on the Irish Rail website
    20th November
Services between Galway and Athlone will be cancelled with the exception of:
    07.15 Galway to Athenry Only
    08.00 Athenry to Galway
This is due to flooding on the road network, which is causing severe disruption to alternative road services.
Iarnród Éireann apologises for the inconvenience caused.
Just in case you're travelling up to Dublin

I think all buses (Bus Éireann/Citylink/GoBus) are off as well.

Im going to call at 8.15 and will post up here when I hear back.

Why do IE not run a shuttle :(. There is only one small road open for Athenry - Galway travel and that could be the case for the best part of a week.

Just off the phone to the station. Nothing running from Athenry to Ballinasloe, and no buses either. He said to call around 11am to see if things have cleared anything. Ill post up more when I get back to them.

When the citylinks get out of the city they actually sprout wings and fly, it's why they're so efficient. ;)
