01 ford courier problem

    hi i have a 01 courier van and a red light on the dash comes on with my fuel light for a second and then goes out i just changed the front brake pads any idea,s cheers

    What does the light look like? I would have thought the Courier has the same instrument cluster as the Fiesta and Escort but these have no fuel lights so I'm not sure what you're seeing...

    My Dad has a 01 Courier too, and I think it does the same thing (diesel engine). I think it's normal, as the car initialises, probably takes a few seconds for data from the fuel sender to be processed. If yours is a diesel, you should probably be waiting for the "curly" light (glow plugs) to be going out before starting the engine anyway; this takes longer than the fuel light to go out on his.

    When would you reccomend changing oil and filter/ and cam belt?
    Also whats the biggest rims tyres that will fit courier?
