I was told that there is a site where you can download it does anyone know? And just for everyones information I don't plan on doing my solidworks at home just going to practice it <that was for the information who were on the last thread I look up about solidworks and the DCG project.

I assume you mean Solidworks Student Edition 2009. It's available from here http://www.solidworks.com/sw/education/SDL_form.html but you will need a Unique school code from your teacher
