    Hi,
Wasn't sure where to post this.

Family funeral a few days ago and I understand it's expected that you pay the organist for their time. From speaking to friends, it seems to be at your discretion... any suggestions as to how much you should give to the organist?

    Thanks so much

    Hi,

Sorry that nobody has replied yet. I honestly have no idea what the answer to your question is, but what are your relatives/friends giving?

I would ask the local priest/minister for advice.

I'm sure some gratuity would be appreciated as its unlikely the organist is a full time musician and has probably taken time off work to attend
